Yahoo inc. has its new CEO, Carol Bartz. She is the former of Autodesk CEO for 14 years. Since 1992, Bartz, 56, has transformed Autodesk from an aimless maker of PC software into a leader of computer-aided design software, targeting architects and builders.
Carol Bartz was named as one of the “50 most powerful women in business,Fortune,2005″. Bartz holds an honours degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin. She was granted an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an honorary Doctor of Letters degree from William Woods University.
With its new leader, where will yahoo go to? Indeed, she has an outstanding track record. Let’s just hope she will make Yahoo better and better.
